Playwright and Novelist
Her first play Pedro N' Pete; A Rock n' Roll Odyssey, debuted at Synchronicity Space and was the last show at the legendary Greenwich Village, Village Gate. The Eric Clapton Breakfast Club, a raucous kitchen-sink soap opera, was produced by Alice's 4th Floor, and was awarded a finalist in the 1995 Love Creek One-Act Festival in NYC. It also won a finalist in The 15th Playwright's Forum, and 'The Moving Arts' nationwide One-Act Competition. It has been published for Tower Books / Records and Border's Books and Music and is on sale now. She has been produced and/or workshopped by some of NYC's legendary theatre's such as La Mama, Naked Angels, The Village Gate, Marymount Theatre, Alice's Fourth Floor, and The Woman's Project. She is a member of the Women's Project and was a participating artist in Susan Brinkley's Cherry Lane Theatre. Currently she's developing a new show called called Road Clips which was presented by the Woman's Project First Look series last spring. After two decades of dialogue and melody, a new voice emerged. Her lyricism took shape in prose and thus a debut novel Hotheaded Saints, an evocative murder mystery, available in stores and online now. |
